The Races menu offers courses across the sailing destinations, with different wind, weather and time-of-day conditions. Each briefing previews the route and explains the start and finish. Standard-condition best times are separated by boat and course; account features can save your race history.
New to steering or sail trim? Try the five free First Sail lessons before heading to the line.
A private race with friends.
- Set the course: a host with a verified account chooses a place, route, conditions and start format.
- Invite your crew: share the private invitation with up to five friends. Guests choose a sailing name and join without buying credits or creating an account.
- Ready, start, race: sail the shared course, see the results and arrange a rematch when everyone is ready.
Invitations provide access to a room. Share them with the people you intend to invite and keep personal information out of sailing names and room chat.
The current Race Pack is $5 for 20 hosted races, plus applicable tax. One credit is held when a lobby opens and spent when its countdown starts. A rematch uses another credit. Guests join free, and unused credits carry forward without a subscription.
Three rooms are available at once, with up to six sailors each. Buying a pack does not reserve a server slot. See the Terms of Service for time limits, credit returns and refunds, and check the hosting page for the current offer.

There is no need to race every time you sail. Head back to the simulator to explore, change the weather, or practice a maneuver away from the starting line.
