# Hull 82

> Hull 82 is a browser sailing simulator for sailing enthusiasts and beginners. Steer a sailboat, trim its sails, explore virtual waters, practice sailing basics, and race around the marks. Start sailing as a guest at https://hull82.com/.

Hull 82 is operated by Voyana Studio LLC. It runs in a JavaScript- and WebGL-enabled browser, with keyboard, mouse, and touch controls. No application download is required.

The experience has three main activities:

- Sail: explore islands, harbors, lakes, reefs, and coastal waterways at your own pace. Wind, sail trim, steering, waves, and boat handling shape the experience.
- Sailing School: First Sail offers five practical lessons: Get underway, Steer a new course, Feel the sheet, Find a broad reach, and Make your first tack. Lessons can be repeated. Simulator practice does not award a sailing qualification.
- Races: try solo practice courses, or join friends in an invited Harbor Sprint race. Shared race hosting uses the site's account and race-credit features; invited guests can join without creating an account.

Guests can use the included Sundrift boat, free solo activities, and First Sail without signing in. Accounts support saved progress and additional features. Some boats, digital items, and shared race hosting require purchases; the whole product should not be described as free. Consult the current in-app offers for prices and availability.

The sailing model is a playable approximation. The destinations are virtual environments, including places inspired by real landscapes; their charts and sailing conditions are not real-world navigation information.

The main application is interactive and renders its activity menus with JavaScript. This file summarizes the experience for readers that cannot render those menus. Destination links below open the simulator with a selected place. Sailing School and solo Races are selected from the main application's navigation.
